Ben Tilley, a consultant, has served as a classroom teacher, assistant principal, principal, assistant superintendent, Title I director, and research and data analyst for Columbia Public Schools in Columbia, Missouri.
As assistant superintendent, Ben led the district elementary schools as they worked to transition to standards-based grading. He also led schools in Columbia, Missouri, toward Missouri Gold Star and National Blue Ribbon status. In 2014, Ben was selected for the Distinguished Alumni Award from Columbia College. He received recognition as the Administrator of the Year from the Missouri Association of Art Educators.
Ben earned a bachelor of science degree in elementary education from Columbia College and a master’s and specialist degree in educational administration from William Woods University.
